We're reviewing every Neo Geo game, and this time it's Mutation Nation, 1992 from SNK. We'll explore why this game has such a low catalog number, yet was released so late, in 1992. One thing I have since learned about this game is that it seems to be the first to use SNK's MAKOTO sound driver, making it very likely that the music wasn't done until around 1992.

We're reviewing every Neo Geo game, and this time it's The Super Spy, 1990 from SNK. It could be argued that this is part of the beginning of first-person action in video games, and is therefore a very interesting installment in the Neo Geo library. The game definitely has its fans. Next time we have the three only completely unknown empty spots on the NGH catalog. So we'll be speculating and talking about unreleased Neo Geo games.

In this episode of Neo Geo Generation we take a look at Cyber-Lip, 1990 from SNK. This run-and-gun is considered a coin-op classic by many. But can it measure up to the likes of Contra and Metal Slug. You'll get my take on it as we advance our way through the entire Neo Geo library in this series. Next week we'll be talking about The Super Spy. It's one of the few Neo Geo games that I have amazingly little experience with, so I'll do my best to work on it and have it done for you soon.
