Farland Story (6) Kamigami no Isan (PC-98 Paradise) - A Farland Story game set in modern times?!

In this episode of PC-98 Paradise I talk about the sixth game in TGL's "Farland" series: "Farland Story: Kamigami no Isan". -- ABOUT THE UPDATE PATCH (to fix the game's bugs) -- I have not fully tested the update along with the English patch, however I recommend installing the English patch first if you plan to use it. I have confirmed the game will still start after installing both and that the game is still in English, but haven't tested beyond that. It looks like the file sizes for GAME1.exe and GAME2.exe are unchanged (which means the patch likely didn't work) and the bug in the sound test which the patch is supposed to fix is not fixed when you use the English patch, so unfortunately it is possible the update patch will not fix anything when used in conjunction with the English patch. -Instructions to install the update patch- 1. Open the following URL and download "fs6_up.exe" at the bottom of the page. https://www.entergram.co.jp/support/update.htm#fs6 2. Run the downloaded exe on a modern Windows PC. You will probably get a security warning. Ignore it and run the file. You will be prompted for a location to extract the update files. 3. Put the extracted files on a PC-98 floppy disk (or CD). If you're planning to use a PC-98 emulator, use the program "Disk Explorer" to put the files on a virtual floppy image. (They cannot be run from a hard drive.) 4. Insert the floppy with the update files into the PC-98. Open a PC-98 dos prompt. (If the game is already started, you can quit the game to get a dos prompt.) Navigate to the location where you put the update files and type "setup". 5. You may get a warning that the disk doesn't have an MS-DOS system on it. You can ignore it by selecting "yes" (はい). 6. In the update program, the first line is where you select the drive letter where the update files are located, second line is the hard drive where the game is installed, and the third line is the game install directory. Confirm all is correct and press enter. If the yellow progress bar reaches the end successfully you should be good to go!
